Sending the kids off to day camp is a summertime tradition in America. Kids learn valuable skills in a healthy social environment while making friends and staying supervised during their parents' work hours. Summer camps schedule activities like canoeing, rope making, singing songs and playing colour war games. Themes for certain days selected by the camp director and counsellors entertain kids.
