Natural remedies often treat hair much more gently than the harsh chemicals in modern hair products. Lemon provides many benefits for skin, hair and the digestive system and is rich in vitamin C and citric acid. Why not use the power of lemon to help with hair regrowth? Be careful to rinse your hair thoroughly, as lemon may lighten your hair, or even turn it orange, if you expose your hair to sunlight during lemon treatment.

Remove Dandruff

Washing your hair with a mildly acidic product such as lemon juice helps exfoliate the scalp to prevent dandruff. Other home remedies include mixing equal parts lemon juice and water and soaking a brush in the mixture for one hour. This allows for regular scalp treatment.

Regulate Scalp Blood flow

Rubbing lemon juice on your hair helps stimulate blood flow. This helps regulate glands and leads to increased hair regrowth and produces oil, leaving hair soft and shiny.

Fight Hair Loss

Applying lemon water to the scalp helps fight hair loss caused by baldness of alopecia by increasing scalp health. Common home remedies include crushing lemon seeds and black pepper into a paste or mixing equal parts lemon and vinegar. Apply either mixture to the scalp for 10 minutes, then rinse.
