Cosmetologists train to provide beauty services to their clients. They cut, style and colour hair, and may also provide services like pedicures, manicures, facials, scalp treatments and make-up application. Cosmetologists are required to obtain a license in which they must first complete programs for the duration of nine to twenty-four months. Courses may be offered in community colleges, technical colleges, cosmetology schools and universities. Universities are generally larger and are equipped with a number of campuses.
