Computer camps aim to give children and teenagers the opportunity to expand their knowledge of technology while experiencing living within a community away from home. Although the main focus of computer camps is education, campers usually have plenty of time to make new friends, participate in group activities and enjoy the summer outdoors. Most computer camps are offered by nationally recognised programs at several colleges and universities across the United States.
