Celebrating the joys of friendship with a fun-filled night on the town and hanging out with just the girls is a great way to unwind and shake off stress. Keep the inclinations of your group in mind when choosing a theme for your girls' night. Choosing a location and activity that will be enjoyable for all parties will ensure everyone has a blast.

Cooking or Cake Decorating Class

Check with local restaurants or continuing education centres to find out about cooking or cake decorating classes in your area. This is a great way to laugh and connect with the ladies, while honing an old skill or learning a new one. Less formally, you can have all your friends bring their favourite recipes, then gobble them up after the cooking class is over.

Scavenger Hunt

A scavenger hunt can be done in conjunction with any ladies' night out activity, but it adds a fun twist to a night of cocktails and dancing. Make a list of items each lady needs to either spot or collect by the end of the night.

The list might include: a little drink umbrella, a condom, cocktail napkin from three different bars, hair clip, phone number of a stranger, etc. Items to spot (requires a second party witness) might include: a guy with a ponytail, girl wearing sequins, someone wearing sunglasses (at night) or a guy with a fake tan.

Whoever gets the most items on the list wins.

Spa Party

Get the girls together for a late-night mani-pedi. Call around to find out when the salons in your area close, but many will stay open late for a large group. Make sure to make appointments and ensure the salon can accommodate your whole party.

Dinner and a Movie

Catching a chick flick with the ladies and then dishing about the leading actor at a casual dinner afterwards is a great way to bond. Plus, you won't have to drag your spouse or boyfriend to see that new movie you've been dying to see.

Bowling

Not very many women go bowling regularly, so this can be a fun way to relax with the girls and get a little goofy. Have them put up bumpers, the kiddie kind, for a fun noncompetitive sport.

Pole Dancing Fitness

Check out local gyms and fitness centres to see if anyone offers a pole dancing or striptease fitness class. It's a great way to learn some new tricks, get in a little fitness and bond with the ladies.
