Asus's Eee Top computer is an all-in-one desktop computer that was released in November 2008. This small, streamlined machine features touchscreen technology and an instant-on feature that allows the computer to boot up in just a few seconds. Asus offers a range of Eee Top models in three different sizes, each with its own unique feature set.

ET1602

The Asus Eee Top ET1602 has a 15.6-inch LCD display and uses an Intel Atom N270 processor with the 945 GSE chipset. It comes with 1 GB of DDR2 memory and a 5400rpm, 160 GB Sata2 hard drive. This computer includes a built-in 1.3 megapixel Web camera and array microphone. Like other members of the Eee Top family, the ET1602 includes a touchscreen and rapid boot technology. This machine ships with Windows XP Home edition and weighs 4.26kg.

ET1611PUT

The ET1611PUT is similar to the ET1602, with a 15.6-inch screen and single touch technology. However, it uses the Intel Atom D425 processor with NM10 chipset, and ships with Windows 7 Starter, Home or Professional. It comes with 1 GB of DDR2 memory, and is upgradeable to 2 GB. It includes a larger hard drive, at 250 GB. The ET1611 features a lower quality built-in camera, at 0.3 megapixels, but still includes the built-in microphone and speakers. It also adds an optional wall mount and Kensington lock for security, and weighs only 3.08kg.

ET2000 Series

Asus's 20-inch series of Eee Top machines includes five models: ET2010PNT, ET2011E, ET2011ET, ET2011EGT and ET2011EG. All include a 20-inch, 1600 by 900 resolution screen and Windows 7. The ET2010PNT ships with Windows 7 Home Premium, while the other models include 64-bit Windows 7 operating systems and offer the option of the Professional version. The ET2010PNT, ET2011ET and ET2011EGT include multi-touch screens, which the ET2011E and ET2011EG models lack. The ET2010PNT includes 2 GB of DDR2 memory and a 500 GB hard drive, plus a super multi-DVD drive, and runs on an Intel Atom D510 chipset. The ET2011 series include 2 to 4 GB of DDR3 memory and 320 GB to 1 TB hard drives. DVD drives are optional on some models. The ET2011 series uses Intel Core 2 Duo or Pentium Dual Core processors.

ET2400 Series

This series includes the ET2400IT, ET2400INT and ET2400XVT. All machines in the ET2400 series offer a 23.6-inch screen with 1920 by 1080 resolution, a multi-touch screen and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating systems. These computers use either Intel Core i5-650 or Intel Core i3-540 processors, and ship with 2 GB of DDR3 memory that's upgradeable to 8 GB. They include 500 GB to 1 TB hard drives, and a Blue-Ray or super multi-DVD drive.
