Kid-tough digital cameras are also good toy ideas. Allowing self-expression preside, the camera allows your little man to take pictures as he sees the world. He can drop, kick and step on the camera, unable to break it.

Cars and Trucks

A remote-control racetrack will bring lots of fun to your toddler. There is also an extreme speedway, allowing cars to move by shaking the track. These toys are not only fun for 3-year-olds, but are also educational.

Play monster trucks and cars are favourites of boys this age, allowing hours of play time by themselves or with others.

Battery-powered ride-ons are a great source of fun for your little one. The vehicles allow boys to drive around, with or without passengers.

Another learning toy is from V-tech. The V-smile cartridge system allows learning while playing video games designed for their age level. Familiar characters such as Scooby Doo, Batman and Thomas the Train are a few examples of game options.

Traditional Toys

What would a 3-year-old boy be without a little dirt? Sandboxes are great gifts for the toddlers, as they are allowed to use their imagination in building with the sand. Sifters, buckets, shovels and castle makers are great toys for the sandbox.

Tricycles are another good option for the toddler turning 3. Setting the habit of exercise, the trikes provide hours of fun.
