Check Power Connection
If the speakers will not turn on, the first thing to check is the power connection to the wall outlet. Check that the AC adaptor is firmly connected to a wall outlet port. If you are using a power strip, make sure the power strip is turned on and connected to a wall outlet.
Check Power Outlet
If the power connections are all properly connected, check that the power outlet is operational. Unplug the G500's power cable and insert another device to see if it gets power. If it doesn't, try connecting the G500 to another power outlet to see if it works. If you are using a power strip, try connecting the power cable directly to a wall outlet.
Check Speaker Connection
If the power outlet is functional, then the speaker connections may be improperly configured. Check that each of the five speakers is connected to the proper port on the back of the subwoofer. If they are not securely connected or are connected to the wrong port, then you will not get any audio.
If everything is connected properly and the G500 is still not getting any power, then you will have to change the fuse. Unplug the power cable from the back of the subwoofer and locate the fuse inside the power port. Use a flathead screwdriver to lift the fuse out of place and replace it with a 2.5-amp, 250-volt fuse.
