Legendary Pokemon are notoriously difficult to catch and "Pokemon SoulSilver" packs in as many as it can, making SoulSilver the most challenging and rewarding Pokemon game yet. The legendary trio of the Hoenn region, Kyogre, Groudon and Rayquaza are some of the most powerful Pokemon available, but it takes a lot to get them into your team. In order to even begin trying to find these rare Pokemon, you will need to have beaten the main game by earning all sixteen gym badges and defeating the ultimate Pokemon trainer, Red.

Tips and warnings
- Use the move "False Swipe" to bring the Legendary Pokemon close to fainting. With its energy reduced, it will be much easier to catch.
- Bring plenty of Ultra Balls in to battle and, if possible, use a Pokemon that has a sleep-inducing move to keep the other Pokemon out of action.
