How to Track Your Order on Amazon.com

Updated April 17, 2017

If you can't wait to see how much longer it will be before you get a package from Amazon.com or someone gets a package you shipped to them, you can track the package on Amazon.com. No matter how you ship a package you can use Amazon's tracking system to find out where your item currently is and when it is expected to arrive.

Navigate to amazon.com and sign in to the account you used to place the order you want to track. Click "Your Account" in the upper-right corner of the page.

Click the blue and orange "Your Orders" button on the Web page that opens. Enter your password if prompted.

Scroll down until you see the order you want to track. Click the yellow "Track your package" button on the right side of the screen beside the item in question. A Web page appears displaying some tracking information.

Click the blue "See Complete Tracking History" link directly below the tracking information visible on the Web page to be redirected to a new page with complete, detailed tracking information.
