If you have access to some music that's being stored on MediaFire, you might want to download it and then listen to it with iTunes on your computer. MediaFire is a free online file storage service. A musician might use MediaFire to store samples of her music so people can get a copy and evaluate the songs, to provide access for music critics or to attract new fans. The iTunes app is free from Apple and is used to play music, access the iTunes Store and manage your iPod, iPad and iPhone. You can easily get music from MediaFire into iTunes.

Skill level:

  1. 1

    Launch your Web browser.

  2. 2

Type or paste a MediaFire file's URL into the address bar, and then press the "Enter" key to load the MediaFire page.

  3. 3

Click the download link. A dialogue box opens. Click "Save File," then click a folder on your computer where you want to download the music file, and then click "OK."

  4. 4

    Launch iTunes on your computer.

  5. 5

Drag the music files from your downloads folder into the iTunes window. The songs copy to your iTunes music library.
