The Basic Input Output System (BIOS) is the first code run by your Acer Aspire at start-up in order to launch the hardware and software applications. If your BIOS is locked you can open it through the "F2" key. You won't be able to access your Acer Aspire if your BIOS is locked. If you have forgotten your BIOS password, you can try several default passwords to reset it.
