How to Cartoon Yourself by Webcam

The webcam connected to your computer allows you to record videos and take pictures. These pictures are taken as a still image and then saved on to your computer. You can then use a free program on the Internet to alter this picture into a cartoon image. This is a great way to make a fun display picture or even create an image for a greeting card or poster.

    Preparation

    Click on the "Start" menu and select "All Programs." Click on the program you installed with your webcam to load up the webcam interface.

    Select the "Photo" option and choose "Take Photo."

    Choose a location to save the image on your computer.

    Click on the "Save" button to save the image to your hard drive.

    Open up the Internet browser. Type the address for the web site, "befunky." Select "Get Started" and then "Upload a Photo."

    Select "Artsy Effects" and then choose "Cartoonizer."

    Select the cartoon image type you would like. This will then be applied to the image.

    Open up your Internet browser and type in the web site address for "Cartoon.Pho.to."
