RealD 3D has become the standard for the next generation of movies and television programs. However, the technology behind the standard has been slow to trickle down to the level of the average home movie producer. Now, it has been discovered that people can produce this effect utilising equipment that they already have available to them.The 3D video effect can be produced economically without much additional production time or effort.

Things you need
- Two video cameras
- Video editing software
- 3D glasses
Place two cameras, perfectly level, between 8 inches and a foot apart. Shoot the video as you normally would.
Tint the video from one camera blue, and tint the video from the other camera red, using video editing software. Using the same video editing software, overlay the two videos.
Duplicate the video onto a blank DVD. Play on your DVD player, using 3D glasses to view the finished product.
