How to Attach the End Panel of a Kitchen Cabinet Dishwasher

The majority of the components in your dishwasher are in the door or in the underside of the dishwasher. You will need to remove the front panel of the dishwasher door in several instances, such as repairing or replacing the door wiper gasket, control panel or detergent dispenser. After the repair is complete, it is important to properly replace the front panel for safety and cosmetic purposes. The panel secures in place with several screws located on the inside of the door panel. To replace the panel, you must align it with the door and secure it from the inside using the mounting screws.

Close the dishwasher door but do not latch it.

Align the front panel of the dishwasher with the outside of the door, then slide the panel up into the bottom of the control panel.

Open the dishwasher door and install the screws in the screw holes located along the perimeter of the inside panel; this secures the front panel to the dishwasher door. Use the same screws that you removed from the door panel when you removed it to resecure the panel to the door.
