During the 1990s, RocketMail was one of the most frequently used free Web-based e-mail services until it was acquired by Yahoo! in 1997. However, although RocketMail no longer exists, you can access your RocketMail e-mail via Yahoo! and can view it in MS Outlook with the right POP mail settings.

Launch the Microsoft Outlook software on your computer or laptop. Select "Tools" from the toolbar and then click on "Account Settings."
Click on "New" under the "E-mail" tab in the "Account Settings" dialogue box.
Check the "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" at the bottom of the "Add New e-mail Account" dialogue box and then click "Next."
Click on the "Internet Email" radio button to select the option that will allow you to use the Yahoo! POP settings.
Enter your desired display name in the "Your Name" field and then your RocketMail e-mail address in the "Email Address" field.
Type in "pop.mail.yahoo.com" in the Incoming Mail Server field and "smtp.mail.yahoo.com" in the "Outgoing Mail Server" field.
Enter your RocketMail user name without the "@rocketmail.com" and also your password. Select next to complete the account set-up.
Click on the "Inbox" icon at the left pane in the main menu screen of the MS Outlook screen to view your RocketMail in Outlook.
