How to Set Up RocketMail in Outlook

Rocketmail was one of the first free e-mail services on the World Wide Web. Rocketmail was released by the Four11 corporation in 1997. Yahoo acquired Rocketmail and transitioned Rocketmail users to the Yahoo mail system. However the Rocketmail user could keep their individual e-mail address.
You can you Rocketmail through Microsoft Outlook without too much trouble.

Open the "Tools and Account Settings" option from the Microsoft Outlook menu.
Select the "Email" tab and Click on "New." Click on the "POP3" option and select the "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" check box and click on "Next."
Click on "Next" and enter your full display name and e-mail Address in the two text boxes.
Enter "pop.mail.yahoo.com" for your incoming server and "smtp.mail.yahoo.com" for your Outgoing Mail Server settings.
Enter the first portion of your e-mail address and type in your password for your e-mail address. Click "Next," then "Finish." Your computer will now configure Microsoft Outlook for your Rocketmail Email address.
