You are probably well acquainted with Facebook and its multiple uses. There was a time when the pool of Facebook users was very limited and unique, but now that the social-networking site has grown, it is more difficult to make yourself stand out. You can, however, personalise your Facebook page in a few small ways. One way is to make your name stand out by listing it in all lower case letters.

Skill level:
Moderately Easy

  1. 1

Sign into your Facebook account. Click the "Account" drop-down menu in the upper right corner. Click "Account Settings."

  2. 2

Click the "Change" link to the right of "Name." Highlight and delete the existing information in the form.

  3. 3

Type your first and last name -- all in lower case letters -- back into the boxes; your name will appear exactly as you type it. Click the "Save Changes" button.

  4. 4

Read through the guidelines on the new page. Confirm that your name appears exactly as you want it. Click the "Confirm Change" button. It may take a few days for your name change to take effect.
