Acronis' Disk Director partition management program includes a boot loader application known as Acronis OS Selector. Acronis OS Selector installs itself on the hard drive so that the computer boots directly to Acronis OS Selector each time it boots. Users can select one of the different installed operating systems from the boot loader's graphical menu. If you don't want Acronis boot loader installed on your hard drive, you can deactive it. Deactivating the OS Selector removes it from the boot sector of your hard drive.
