How to Upload a PDF to a Facebook Page

The popular social networking website Facebook, in addition to letting users share their lives through text, also allows account owners to share pictures and videos. Unfortunately, as of May 2011 Facebook does not offer a direct way to upload and share documents, such as Microsoft Word DOC files or Adobe Acrobat PDF files. Fortunately, a handful of popular workarounds do exist that make it possible to share your PDF documents with fans of your Facebook page.

    Open a web browser, navigate to and log in with your Facebook credentials by clicking on "Login with Facebook."

    Click on "Upload a document" to upload your PDF file on Scribd marking it private so it won't appear in search engine queries.

    Go to "All Documents" in Scribd to see the file. Under the file note the words in blue: (Quick Edit | Edit | Share | Preview | Delete). Click on "Share." Copy the full URL that appears.

    Post the link on your Facebook page. Fans of your page will see the link and be able to open the PDF file.
