The basic input/output system, or BIOS, of a computer is its most important application. Entering the BIOS on a Lenovo ThinkPad R60 is a slightly different process than entering the same program on a regular desktop or laptop computer. The ThinkPad features a few proprietary buttons that aren't found on any other type of device, and it is through the use of one of these buttons that you will enter the BIOS.

Connect your ThinkPad to its AC adaptor and connect the AC adaptor to a wall outlet.
