The Panasonic Viera is a line of HDTV sets available in a variety of screen sizes, including LED and LCD display formats. All Viera models are equipped with a digital audio output jack that lets you connect the HDTV to external audio devices such as a sound bar, which is a multi-speaker component that mounts above or below a TV set. Sound bars are available from several manufacturers with different features. If your sound bar has a digital optical input, you can connect it to a Panasonic Viera.
