How to Reset a Windows Mobile 6.5 Device

Windows Mobile 6.5 is an operating system used on many portable devices and cell phones such as the HTC Touch Pro. It allows you to perform several functions. If your Windows Mobile 6.5 device is running into errors including freezing and crashing, resetting it may solve most problems. Resetting your device clears saved content and restores the default settings. Reset your device quickly and safely.

Tap the "Start" menu on your device's screen and tap "Settings" to launch your phone's settings.

Tap "All Settings," then tap the "System" tab.

Select "Clear Storage." When prompted, confirm your selection. Your phone automatically resets and reboots.
