How to Hang Heavy Things Without Nails

Updated April 17, 2017

If you'd like to hang heavy framed pictures without nails or screws, you might think it impossible. Whether you'd like to avoid using nails on drywall where it's hard to find a stud, or would like to install something without nails to ensure easy removal, a heavy-duty wall hanger will solve your problem. Heavy-duty wall hangers are easy to install and can support objects weighing up to 68 Kilogram.

Decide where you'd like to hang the picture. For easy installation, select an area of the drywall that's in-between studs.

Hold the heavy-duty wall hanger by the end of its hook. Gently press the straight, sharp end of the hanger into the area of the drywall where you'd like to hang the picture.

Push the sharp end of the wall hanger through the drywall. Continue to press the wire into the drywall until the bend of the hook prevents the wire from going in any farther.

Twist the wire so that the hook is facing upward.

Hang the heavy object on the hanger.
