In the Pokemon franchise, identification ("ID") cards are known as "Trainer Cards." These are used in-game to display and share character information, such as name, rank, time spent in-game, money and current Pokemon party. There are free Trainer Card generators online that allow users to make replicas of their in-game ID, as well as IDs featuring their favourite Pokemon. These personalised Trainer Card images can be printed for records or used in online forum signatures.

Instructions

  1. 1

Visit a free online Pokemon Trainer Card generator, such as those offered by PokeStadium.com, MapleTowers.com or HakuAnime.net.

  2. 2

Complete the form with your player name and Nintendo Friend Code (if applicable).

  3. 3

Choose a colour for your Trainer ID card.

  4. 4

Select your Trainer sprite. This will be used to represent you or your game character. Depending on the generator used, there are more than 100 sprites to choose from with various hair colours and styles.

  5. 5

Select the badges you want displayed on your card. If you are making the card to represent your current in-game status, choose only the badges that your character has earned.

  6. 6

Enter your in-game "Win: Loss" statistics, if applicable.

  7. 7

Choose your team of six Pokemon. You can use your current party if you are making a card for your status, or your ultimate Pokemon dream team.

  8. 8

Click on the "Submit" button (or equivalent) to generate your personalised Pokemon Trainer ID Card image. If you would like to save it for later use, right-click on the image and select "Save As" to save it to your computer's hard drive.
