SMS, or text, messages are fast becoming the communication medium of choice for many people, as they are easy to compose and can be sent from virtually any cell or smartphone. The Motorola Razr R3 allows you to send text messages and store received SMS messages on the phone. Tips and warnings

  • Motorola offers the latest version of the mobile Phone Tools software CD for purchase on its site. However, many older versions of the application are available as free downloads at sites across the Web. The Razr Z3 is compatible with versions 3.0 and later of the software. Therefore, virtually all of the versions available for free will work with the phone. Even if the download utility shown is for a different model, it will still works for the Razr Z3. Motorola sometimes brands the utility for a particular model phone, but the application is the same for all models.
