The board offers support for socket 478 CPUs, such as the Intel Pentium 4 or Celeron processor series, and allows up to 4 gigabytes (GB) of DDR RAM. The motherboard uses a version of AMI BIOS, from American Megatrends Incorporated and used by a number of motherboard manufacturers. As well as providing an interface for the BIOS settings, the BIOS also features a standalone boot menu to allow quick selection of an alternative boot device.

Power on the computer, or restart the computer if it's already running, to enable you to enter the BIOS which can only be done at boot time.
Press "F11" if you want to temporarily change the boot device to boot from a CD rather than the hard drive, for example. Press the "Up" or "Down" arrow keys to highlight a device, and then press "Enter" to select the device.
Press the "Del" key at boot time to enter the BIOS. Use the "Up" and "Down" arrow keys to navigate, the "+" and "-" keys to change values and the "Enter" key to enter submenus.
Press "F10" to save your changes and exit the BIOS.
