Starting with the iPhone 4, Apple made a design change and moved the location of its SIM card slot from the top of the smartphone to the side. In addition, Apple switched to the Micro SIM card format, leaving behind the larger SIM cards used in past iPhone models. While the location of the card and its format have changed, the method used to open the SIM card drawer is largely the same. You can open the SIM card drawer on your iPhone 4 in just a few steps.
