How to Install The Sims: Triple Deluxe

Updated February 21, 2017

The Sims Triple Deluxe contains three games: "The Sims: Livin' Large," "The Sims: House Party" and "The Sims: Vacation." It also includes a bonus disc that features extra content for the games, such as houses, characters and designs. Installing the game is straight forward, and the user is guided by on-screen prompts that help the user along. Since three games will be installed, the install process may take a few minutes.

Turn on the computer and insert the first install DVD into the computer's DVD drive. Wait for the install shield to pop up.

Select the option to install a language. Select "English" and click "Next."

Enter the serial key that is found on the back of the manual. This is used to validate that the software is not pirated. Click "Next."

Select the "User Type." Select "Typical User." This is the default setting and click "Next."

Click "Yes" at the install warning screen. The install shield will warn the user that the program is going to take up computer memory. Click "Yes" to accept and continue.

Click "Register Later" when the registration screen appears. This can be done later and is not necessary for the installation process.

Wait while the program installs. An install progress bar will appear, indicating the progress on the installation. This may take a few minutes to complete. When it is finished, the game is installed. Eject the disc from the drive.

Repeat these steps with the additional install DVDs. The install process is exactly the same. When all the DVDs are installed, reboot the computer.
