How to Use the Suzuki DRZ400S Speedometer

The Suzuki DR-Z400S comes equipped with a digital speedometer display. By default, it displays the bike's speed, but you can change the functions on the display to show other useful information, such as a timer, clock and two different trip meters. Use the push buttons under the display to change the functions.

  1. 1

    Press the MODE-TRIP button to switch between the odometer and trip meters. The first press switches to the odometer, the second to trip meter A, and the third to trip meter B before it cycles back.

    Change or reset the trip meters by pressing the "SET-TRIP" button with the trip meter selected. Then press the "ADJUST +" or "ADJUST -" button.

    Press the "MODE-TIME" button to display the clock. Hold in the button for 2 seconds to adjust the time. The clock display will blink. You can cycle through the hours and minutes by pressing the "SET-TIME/TRIP" button, and change them using the "ADJUST" buttons.

    Press "MODE-TIME" again to display the stopwatch. Press the "SET-TIME/TRIP" button for two seconds to reset the stopwatch. Press it again to start from 0:00.
