Polishing your floorboards can work wonders for a room. Floor polish enhances the natural beauty of the wood and empowers the wood to give off a soft glow, to be both warm and welcoming. You don't need a sophisticated machine or expensive products to give your wood floorboards an unforgettable shine. You can make all-natural floor cleaner and all-natural polisher to add gleam to your floorboards and give off a pleasant scent.

Combine 4 tbsp white vinegar with 4 tbsp water softener and 1 gallon warm water in a bucket. Dip a mop in the mixture and wipe down the floors. Dry as you go with a large soft rag.

Combine 1 tbsp beeswax with 2 cups mineral oil in a double boiler. Heat over low heat until well combined. Allow the mixture to cool for two to three minutes.

Dip a soft rag in the mixture and apply to your floor in nice even strokes. Apply this all-natural polish with the grain of the wood to help accentuate it.
