How to Remove a Corrado Front Bumper

Updated July 20, 2017

The front bumper of the Volkswagen Corrado protects the front of the vehicle from damage that may result from low-speed collisions. If the front bumper is damaged in an accident, you should replace immediately. The bumper is held in place by nine bolts. Once those bolts are removed with a socket wrench, you can easily remove the bumper and replace it with a new one.

Remove the four 17mm bolts on each side of the bumper with a socket wrench.

Crawl underneath the Corrado and disconnect the fog light assembly electrical connectors.

Pry the bumper liners off with a slotted screwdriver.

Remove the six 10mm bolts along the bottom of the bumper.

Lift the front bumper up and off your Corrado.
