"Natruto Battle Arena" is a two-dimensional fighting game on PC built using a freeware fighting-game engine called M.U.G.E.N, or Mugen. Several versions of games are built using the Mugen engine. Because of its flexibility, programmers, often called contributors, create various other characters and versions of characters and distribute them freely for download. You can add additional characters to "Naruto Battle Arena" by downloading them from the Mugen Characters website. Several different characters are available and, because independent contributors create each, some characters may look and perform better than others.

Instructions

  1. 1

Open your Web browser and visit the Mugen Characters website (see Resources for a link). This is a collection of Mugen characters that you can download for any Mugen game, such as "Naruto Battle Arena."

  2. 2

Scroll down and click on the "Naruto" image on the right side of the page to access the "Naruto Battle Arena" characters page.

  3. 3

Scroll through the list of available characters in the database and choose the one you want to download. Note that there are several pages of characters; click on the page number at the bottom of the page to view more characters.

  4. 4

Click the link for the character you want to download, when you decide which character you want to add to your "Naruto Battle Arena" game. For example, if you wanted to download the S Ambu character, click on the "S Ambu by sergiu" link. You arrive at a new page with an image of what the character looks like in game.

  5. 5

Click the "Download" link above the image and you arrive at a download page. Because the characters are user-generated, the download page may be different, depending on where the author hosts the download file.

  6. 6

Follow any on-screen instructions and save the file to the desired destination folder on your computer.
