Grease is often splashed onto the ceiling during cooking. But don't give up those french fries just yet. Remove grease from your ceiling using a mop and common household cleaning solutions.
Fill your bucket with water and mix about four ounces of all-purpose cleaner per gallon of water into the bucket.
Dip the mop into the bucket. Make sure to remove excess water from the mop, otherwise water could drip from the mop and ceiling onto you and your kitchen.
Step onto your step stool to get closer to the ceiling and start brushing the grease with the mop.
Rinse the mop and repeat steps two and three as needed until the ceiling is free of grease.
