How to Remove the Nokia 5300 SIM Card

The Nokia 5300 is a smart phone from cellphone manufacturer Nokia. As most cell phones have, the 5300 has a removable SIM card, which houses personal information such as saved user preferences and phone numbers. Removing the SIM card makes it easy to transfer information from one cell phone to another. You can remove the SIM card from the 5300 with little difficulty.

Depress the button in the middle towards the back on the top of the 5300. Carefully remove the backing, prying from the top.

Depress the battery towards the bottom of the 5300 while prying the battery out from the top.

Remove the SIM card, which was under the battery. Don't touch the metal components of the card.
