Mirrored glasses are glasses with rear-view mirrors that allow you to see what's going on behind you. These kinds of glasses are a common element of spy fiction such as James Bond and "Burn Notice" and even "Mad" magazine's "Spy vs. Spy." Mirrored glasses are simple to make on a shoestring budget and can be used to impress your friends and family. These glasses even have practical applications, such as enabling you to see what's behind you while raking leaves or performing other outdoor tasks.

  1. 1

Measure the height and length of each lens of your flat glasses. Take these measurements and mark the same height and length on your flat mirror.

  2. 2

Use the measurements you just made on the glass and draw the shape of your two lenses within the measurements.

  3. 3

Use your hacksaw to cut out the shapes you just made. Measure 1/4 of the shapes you just cut out and make a mark with your marker. Cut the shapes vertically where you made the mark.

  4. 4

Take the two smaller ends you just made and use your Dremmel rotary tool to smooth out the edges and make them follow the same contour as the lenses of your glasses.

  5. 5

Plug in your glue gun and place the hot wet glue on one side of the mirror pieces you have cut out. Place one into the outer side of each lens and wait for it to dry. Scrape any excess glue off your lenses with your razor blade.
