How to Connect a Printer to an O2 Router

Updated February 21, 2017

Printers have come a long way since their invention. When home computer printers were first introduced they were bulky, loud and not very efficient. Not to mention the printer needed to be placed right next to the computer you were printing from. Printers can now be placed anywhere in your home and connected to your private router. From the router, any computer connected to the network can utilise the connected printer.

Press the "Menu" button on your network printer. Select "Network" from the menu that appears.

Select "WLAN" from the "Network" menu and select the security, if there is one, that you have on your home network.

Enter in your security password if you use one and press the "OK" button to verify that the password is correct.

Press the "Select" button to connect your printer to the network and you will now be able to print via your Wi-Fi connection.
