Avaya EU24 Instructions

The Avaya EU24 is a module that is used to expand the number of feature buttons and other options on an Avaya telephone. The unit has an additional 24 buttons that can be used to program features, such as call forwarding. To use the expansion module it will need to be connected to an Avaya phone. You will then need to learn what options are available to set, such as the viewing angle and the contrast for the screen.

    Set Viewing Angle

  1. 1

    Hold on to the base of the module with your left or right hand.

    Pull on the top of the module to raise the height. Press the release button that is on the top of the device and push down to lower the height.

    Verify that the module is sliding up and down the height adjustment notches. Set module so that it is at the height of the telephone.

    Adjust the Contrast

  1. 1

    Press the "Options" button that is on the base of the phone. This will display the main options screen.

    Select the option for "Contrast Control."

    Press the button for "Line/Feature," on the side of the phone where the EU24 is located. This indicates that you want to adjust the contrast for the display.

    Press the "Right Arrow" to brighten the screen until you reach a desirable level. Press the "Left Arrow" button to dim the screen until you reach a desirable level.

  5. 5

    Press the "Save" button to save the contrast level for the EU24. Press the "Cancel" key to restore the previous setting.

Tips and warnings

  • Press the "Alternate Display" button to view information that is not currently displayed on the screen.
