How to Enter Radio Codes in the Nissan Pulsar

Updated February 21, 2017

Many models of the Nissan Pulsar are equipped with an antitheft system built into the radio. This system prevents the radio from being used if it is disconnected from the car. Disconnecting the battery from the radio will also prevent the radio from being used. To restore functionality to the radio system, you must enter the antitheft code. This code came with the Pulsar when it was new. If the code is not available, you can obtain it from a Nissan dealer.

Turn the ignition switch to "On."

Press the radio power button to turn it on.

Press the numbered radio preset keys to enter the code. The first and third numbers of the code represent how many times the following digit is entered. For example, if the code is 4356, press the "3" button four times and the "6" button five times.

Operate the radio normally when the standard radio display is visible.
