Burning your own audio CDs lets you customise your music experience. You may add songs in any order. Sometimes, however, when CDs are copied they do not display the artist name, song name or the duration of the song. Burning an audio CD with this information intact can add a new level of enjoyment to your audio CD creations.

- Blank CD-R or CD-RW
Navigate to iTunes (see Resources) and select your version of Windows compatible iTunes. Click "Download Now" to save iTunes to your computer.
Install iTunes to your computer and open the program.
Create a music library by going to "File" and selecting "Add Folder to Library." Browse for your folder containing your music and select "Open" to load the music folder into your iTunes Library.
Select "File" and "New Playlist." Drag and drop your music folder from the "Library" to your "Playlist" folder. Verify that you are connected to the Internet. Apple iTunes checks the song IDs to successfully list the track's artist, song name, genre, time and other details.
Insert a blank CD-R or CD-RW into your CD/DVD ROM burning drive and select "Burn Disc" at the bottom of the "Playlist" screen. Choose a writing speed and select "Burn" to burn your audio CD with the artist names and information intact.
