The Altec Lansing ADA885 computer speaker series has four different satellite speakers and a subwoofer. This gives you a 4.1 stereo system. Even if you have a RealTek 7.1 HD sound system, you are able to hook up the computer speakers together. Although this doesn't take full advantage of the 7.1 surround sound, at least you won't have to purchasing a new set of speakers if you already have the Altec Lansing hardware on hand.
