How to Make Green Paint

Most commercially available paints are made with synthetic, sometimes toxic materials that can be problematic to keep in your home -- especially if you have children. However, many old-fashioned paint recipes involve natural ingredients that are safe and easy to make at home. This milk paint recipe will allow you to make green paint.

Mix together 3 cups of non-fat dry milk and 3 cups warm water in the bowl.

Stir the ingredients until they are creamy and smooth.

Add green food colouring to the paint mixture, drop by drop, mixing periodically, until the paint has reached the level of green you desire. Count the number of drops and write them down in the notepad in case you need to produce the same colour later.

You can make more paint by mixing together more non-fat dry milk and water. Keep in mind the recipe is 1 part non-fat dry milk to 1 part warm water.
