How to Edit an ISO Image in Nero

Updated February 21, 2017

An ISO image is a disc image file. This file format can be created natively using the Nero Burning ROM software for Windows-based computers. If you have an existing ISO image that you want to modify, you can also make these edits using Nero Burning ROM. What you will need are access to the files you want to add or knowledge of the files you want to delete from the disc image file -- in addition to the ISO and the Nero software.

Right-click on the ISO image file you want to edit with Nero Burning ROM.

Click "Open With."

Click "Nero Burning ROM" to open the ISO image file in that particular program.

Click on a file and click the "Delete" button to remove a file from the ISO disc image file. To add a file to the ISO disc image file, click on its icon from your hard drive and drag it into the ISO image window in Nero Burning ROM. Continue with these two processes until your desired edits are complete.

Click "File" and "Save" to save the edits you made to your ISO disc image file with Nero Burning ROM.
