Homemade hair loss tonic is a simple, natural tonic using common, healthy ingredients to slow hair loss without the preservatives, additives and chemicals often found in commercial products intended for the same purpose. Making your own hair loss tonic will also save you quite a bit of money over buying commercial products. This recipe will make enough hair loss tonic for about ten applications, though it is easily double for more uses. This tonic will keep for about ten days in the refrigerator.

  • 2 cups distilled water
  • 2 cups aloe vera juice
  • 30 drops sage essential oil
  • 20 drops rosemary essential oil
  • 1 cup nettle leaves

Instructions

    Combine the distilled water, aloe vera juice, sage essential oil, rosemary essential oil and nettle leaves in a large glass jar with a tight fitting lid.

    Store in a cool dry place and let steep for two weeks, shaking once per day.

    Strain the contents of the glass jar through a fine sieve and transfer to a clean glass jar with tight-fitting lid.
