A Samsung LCD television can be used as a primary monitor for a PC. This is convenient for people who wish to use their PC to watch movies or do light Internet browsing from the comfort of their couch. Samsungs and most other new LCD TVs have a "PC input," which is actually just a standard VGA input. VGA cables connect your PC to a monitor, so if you already have one, you most likely have the cable.

Tips and warnings
- Samsungs can be finicky about the type of VGA cable you use. Be sure that yours has all 15 pins, as some cheap cables do not. Have all of your drivers up to date before attempting to connect to your television.
