How to Turn on Bluetooth on Asus

Updated March 23, 2017

All Asus computers use the Windows operating system. Therefore, you must follow the steps that Windows uses to enable Bluetooth on the computer. Starting in Windows XP, with the release of Service Pack 2 (an update for the operating system,) you are capable of linking a Bluetooth device to your computer. Turning on and linking a Bluetooth device with your Asus allows you to transfer data between the device and the computer wirelessly.

Open the Control Panel in the Start menu. Click "Hardware and Sound" and then "Bluetooth Devices."

Open the Bluetooth Settings.

Select "Turn Discovery On" under Options. If you do not have this option, select "Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer."
