The Action Replay Max cheat device has traditionally been plugged into handheld consoles through the game port or activated with game discs. Because the PlayStation Portable (PSP) uses a form of media known as a UMD, the Action Replay Max device has been converted to a piece of software that is transferred onto a memory stick in the PSP or directly to the hard drive of a PSP Go. Before you can enter codes, you must set up your Action Replay Max by installing the software on your handheld console.
