To ensure you have the best viewing experience, you can configure and set your desired colour picture settings. Philips TVs come with built-in picture customisation settings you can use to change colour settings and temperature. Because TV stations and DVDs are formatted differently, adjust your colour settings to achieve the best visual results.

    Turn on your Philips TV, and then press the "Menu" button on your TV's remote control. If you do not have a remote control, press the "Menu" button located on the front or side of your Philips TV, depending on the model. You should see the configuration menu displayed on your screen.

    Press the "OK" button on your remote to select the "Picture" option. Press the down arrow button, highlight "Color," and then press "OK."

    Press the forward or back arrow button to increase or decrease your TV's colour. Press "OK" to save the changes. Scroll down, highlight "Color Temperature," and then press "OK." Select the colour temperature you want to use and press "OK."

Tips and warnings

  • Set the location of your TV to "Home" or "Retail." This ensures that your picture settings will me memorised when you turn off your TV. To set the location, press the "Menu" button, select "Features," and then select "Location." Select your location and press "OK" to save the changes.
