Thanks to the rise of computers with webcams and the use of digital photos, it's now possible to plant a photo of your face onto another person's body without the use of expensive editing software. Websites such as Face in Hole allow users to upload a photo of themselves (or take a photo from a webcam) and place their face on the bodies of celebrities, models, and other notable popular figures. The process is a simple one and only takes a few minutes, making this a great rainy day activity for kids, teens, or adults who are bored in the office.

Things you need
- Personal computer
- Webcam (or a digital, front-facing headshot of yourself)
- Face in Hole (Website)
Open your web browser and navigate to www.faceinhole.com,>
Select "Create a Free Account/Login" from the upper right corner. Fill out your information for a new account or log in to your existing account.
Navigate back to the home page and select "Scenarios." Click "People and Celebrities" in the box on the left side of the page. Here you'll see a page full of models and celebrities bodies in varying poses with a white "hole" where the face should be.
Select the model you want to place your face on by clicking on the photo, or do a search if you have a specific figure in mind. Once the page has loaded to feature your selected photo, it's time to add your face in.
Click on one of the three photo options above the model's photo. The first option, "Facebook", allows users to link directly to Facebook where they can select photos to use. This is a good option if you're away from your home computer and don't have access to photos of yourself or if you don't have a webcam on your computer. The second option, "Upload," lets the user browse their computer for a personal photo. The third option, "webcam," involves using the individual's webcam to take a photo directly and place it into the face hole. This is the best option for those in a time crunch or who want to make sure their face fits the hole in the most ideal way.
Upload or take your face photograph. Once uploaded, a new page appears with your face in the model's face hole. Use the provided tools in the menu bar on top of the photo to adjust the size and rotation of your face. To move the face in the hole simply click on it and move as needed with the mouse. Use the brightness/contrast/saturation tools to adjust the colour look of your face photo. This helps immensely with making the photo look more realistic and natural. Use your mouse to move the sliders until the photo looks seamless enough to pass of as a photo of yourself.
Select "Save" from the top menu bar. The page will refresh and display your finished product on a full screen. Here you can choose to upload the photo to a variety of sites ranging from Facebook and Myspace to Bebo, Blogger, and other networking sites. Face in Hole also gives the option to have your photo printed on a T-shirt. This option is located directly below your finished photo.
Tips and warnings
- Make sure your photos are good quality. They don't have to be perfect but fuzzy or blurry photos rarely look good when pasted onto clear ones. The most genuine look will be one where the face photo is at least semi-equal in quality to the body photo.
