How to Reset an Epson R200

Updated February 21, 2017

The Epson R200 is a digital printer used for both Windows and Mac computers. As requests are set to the printer, the information is stored in the device's memory bank. However, if you want to clear out the printer request history from the Epson R200, there are a few specific steps you need to take. Thankfully, both are performed in almost the exactly the same way on either a Windows or Mac system.

Double-click the printer icon in the lower-right corner of the desktop. This is for both Windows and Mac computer systems. A window appears with all the pending printing requests.

Select the print request you want to stop and click "Delete." This removes the print request from the printer memory. Repeat the same process with the rest of the requests.

Power down the Epson R200 and disconnect it from the computer. Additionally, remove the power cable connecting it to the local power outlet. Leave the printer off for several minutes, as this allows the internal hardware to rest.

Reconnect the printer to the local power outlet and the computer system. Power on the printer and the Epson R200 is completely reset.
